An Adventure Story

Yesterday, Mike went to Sai Kung to shoot the scenery. He found a cave not far away. It was pitch dark inside, and he walked in with his mobile phone flashlight. It did not take long for him to find a wired machine inside with a flashing blue button on the surface. He pressed it curiously, and suddenly a light shot at him.

Hearing a voice telling him that he had successfully travelled to 100 years ago, he wondered if it was a time travel machine. He walked out of the cave and found the surrounding scenery was completely different. As if entering a paradise, the air is fresh. There are gorgeous flowers and plants everywhere, the blue sky and the sea is crystal clear. He saw a large sailboat floating on the sea not far away which is full of Hong Kong classical. He took pictures of the surrounding scenery as he walked.

Mike suddenly saw a seemingly unfriendly man walking in his direction from the beach. He had long hair, a tall build, dark skin, bare upper body and feet. He was wearing shorts, a short knife hanging from his waist, and a long fork in his right hand, as if he had just fished. He looked like a savage. Mike was scared. But to Mike’s surprise, the man nodded at him with a smile, and politely asked Mike if he was from outside. Mike nodded. He left Mike on the beach, went into the bushes and picked up a bunch of branches. He started a fire on the beach, grilled the fish he caught and sat Mike across from him. After a while, the aroma was overflowing and Mike found his stomach beating. The man handed the grilled fish to Mike. It was especially delicious to eat in the primitive environment, with a unique flavor.

After filling up, Mike started talking with the man. Let Mike understood the living customs and culture of the local people 100 years ago. Mike took a photo with the man and taught him how to take pictures with a camera. The man took Mike to different places to take pictures. They did not leave until dusk. Mike went back to the cave, found the machine and pressed the blue flashing button again. In a blink of an eye, Mike was back in the era he lived in. But this time, he found the time machine was gone.
Mike took a lot of precious photos, and the unusual experience made him grow up a lot.
